5. Why is the Dashboard with Tasks – Score Board – Contacts – Opportunities blank?04 Feb

The Dashboard is a fantastic productivity area within SalesImpaq CRM.  You need to do the following to utilize the Dashboard effectively.

1.       Import data as outlined in FAQ Question 2.

2.       Start entering data.  There are several ways to enter data if you are starting from scratch.

a.       File – New

i.      Contact

ii.      Account

iii.      Opportunity

b.      In the Contacts panel, click on the down arrow and select – New from the multiple options including:

i.      New

ii.      Edit

iii.      Duplicate

iv.      Delete

v.      Search

vi.      History

c.       These options are available for each panel of the Dashboard and also the right mouse button.  Your may also double-click on a highlighted row and you may Open and Edit the form. Accounts may be added by selecting File – New – Account.  Complete the form and click on the Save button.

6. What is the SalesImpaq Score Board?03 Feb

The design of the Score Board is to provide you with daily inspiration and sales focus by analyzing the bar chart reflecting your Commissions from sales closures.  The Score Board allows you to track your progress to achieve your sales goals or quota.  The Score Board also tracks your Forecast Revenue, Booked Revenue, and Commission Tracking from within the Opportunities form.   Assign your sales target or quota by going to Help – Getting Started – Assign Quota. Click on Assign Quota. Underneath Define Fiscal Quarters in the last data field on the bottom left enter your personal sales quota or sales goal next to Quota. After you have added the new value, click on Save. A pop-up window will appear confirming your have changed the Quota value.  “Information Saved.” Your new Quota value will appear on the Dashboard in the Score Board panel.

7. What does the Setup tab do for me?02 Feb

The Setup tab allows you to customize the SalesImpaq CRM application based on the products, services your represent to your target, new, and existing customers.   SalesImpaq CRM provides you with a Fortune 500 Technology Industry sales process.  You can modify and customize your options for your specific industry for:

1.       Contact Type

2.       Account Type

3.       Account Status

4.       Account Priority

5.       Address Type

6.       Opportunity Type

7.       Opportunity Status

8.       Opportunity Stage

9.       Opportunity Close Probability

10.     Opportunity Priority

11.     Opportunity Commission

You have the option to click on the Add New button and add a new value in the data field below New Value, or high light an existing option and click on the Delete button.  You can easily customize the SalesImpaq CRM to your specific sales methodology and terms.

8. The Reports tab provides you with pre-designed reports. All you need to do is:31 Jan

1.       Specify Report Type

2.       Determine if you would like a Bar, Line, or Pie chart

3.       Select the Period or Start – End Date

4.       Select the Run Report button or Print Button

The sales report will be generated from the data within Opportunities. You may also run several other sales pipeline and contact reports.  Another nice feature is you can Email or Print the reports.
